ImagEval Consulting LLC, offers services to assist customers in evaluating the quality and design of imaging products, such as digital cameras, displays and printers. The company was founded in 2003 by Dr. Joyce Farrell and Dr. Brian Wandell .

In addition to consulting services, ImagEval provides software tools for engineers designing and evaluating imaging systems. For example, ImagEval developed a MATLAB® toolbox (ISET) that simulates the entire image processing pipeline of a digital camera, including scene, optics, sensor, processing and display rendering. Other products include a database of high-resolution, high-dynamic range, multispectral image database (HDRMS ) and a display simulator that is currently under development.
