The diffraction-limited MTF of a lens with a circular aperture, without
aberrations when (a) focused (alpha = 0) and (b) defocused (alpha ~= 0)
The variable s is the reduced spatial frequency from 0 to 2. The
parameter alpha is the defocus parameter related to the defocus w20 of
Hopkins
This function is used when calculating the effects of human chromatic
aberration.
